Not Far From Every One of Us

In this message, we look at Paul's message at Mars Hill.  They were religious- even to the point of having an altar for "The Unknown God".  Paul directed them to the True and Living God- the Father of Jesus Christ.   Furthermore, he demonstrates that the resurrection separates Jesus from all other so-called gods.   This also serves as a great model for evangelism in a pluralistic society.

God Speaks (part 4)

This message was recorded on Sunday Aug. 16th 2009 at Liberty Worship Center.  This is the final installment of a series of messages entitled "God Speaks".  In this message, pastor Henry teaches about a more subjective means of revelation- dreams, visions, prophecies, etc.   We must be careful to measure every subjective experience by the Word of God, which is objective.  However, we should not dismiss the notion that God can (and does) speak to us through these means.  A healthy, balanced, and above all...biblical approach needs to be taken.

God Speaks (part 3)- Chastisement

This message was recorded August 9th at Liberty Worship Center.  Today's message deals with how God speaks to us through adversity.  The trials we face in this life are intended to lead us to a greater level of spiritual maturity and holiness.  We have the opportunity to refuse to hear God's voice in our trials, or to allow Him to speak to us, and complete in us, His perfect work!

We continue with part two of the series: God Speaks.  In this message, pastor Henry describes the most common (and reliable) way that God speaks to individuals; through the written Word.  The bible is a miracle in itself.  It is literally the very words of God breathed into life, and shared with humanity.  Listen and be encouraged as you learn to hear God speak through His Word.
